AFRICAN DOUBTER

We're kept alive by our fear to survive
Our ancient African doubts our drive

Nothing believed from cradle's birth
Where white we grind those fire-dancers' mirth

Our doubts settle on the plains of our minds
Which forever is painted by our coloured blinds

Our heroics to protect ... flame our sparking tongues
Where doubting is needed as the air within our lungs
